Puzzlewood is an ancient woodland site, near Coleford in the Forest of Dean, Gloucestershire, England. The site, covering 14 acres, shows evidence of open cast iron ore mining dating from the Roman period, and possibly earlier.
In 1848 some workmen, after moving a block of stone in the woods, found a small cavity in the rocks. In this cavity, hidden away, were three earthenware jars containing over 3,000 Roman coins. No-one knows why the coins were hidden away in the cliff face nor by whom.
J. R. R. Tolkien, a frequent visitor to the Forest of Dean, may have visited Puzzlewood, and many believe Puzzlewood was the inspiration for the fabled forests of Middle-earth, such as the Old Forest, Mirkwood, Fangorn or Lothlórien contained within The Lord of the Rings. J.K Rowling is also said to have visited Puzzlewood, and it may have been this that influenced her idea of The Forbidden Forest in the Harry Potter books.

Must remember to visit Wonderland at least once a day.
Today is packing day and I really want to get a lot done. This will help me to feel like I am getting somewhere. I won’t need much unpacked for a month in Cardiff as I am mainly working and my only visit away is Paris so I’ll check the Weather now and hope for the best. Most of my stuff is art materials and owls anyways.
I can’t wait to really make somewhere home.
Deactivated my facebook account. Feeling really low right now.

Ok, so things have been really up and down recently. I have left college but am still teaching one day a week. My tattoo is completed and is such an epic piece thanks to my wonderful tattooist at Kalima Emporium.
I have a stack of marking to do and starting next week will have one day off a week as I am taking overtime to cover the shop again. I would love to have more time for socialising and feel really bad I have not kept up-to-date with people recently.
I have a wonderful boyfriend who puts up with my demanding nature and looks after me when I feel run down for taking on too many projects at once.
This week I will see eso live in London at Madame Jo Jos and I am really looking forward to seeing my mate Nick for the first time since February. :D After this my next day off is the following Saturday so i’ll probably sleep this entire day! :p Following this day off I get a long weekend in June for Paris with my good friend Ashley before moving at the end of the month.
I think i’d better start packing in the evenings. I haven’t left much time for anything. For those who have asked for drawings and other projects-I am still working on them. Please do not fear and I am hoping to get some work done asap. (Monday?!) :)
